PNE Group has completed the sale of its 10.8 MW Romescamps wind farm project in France to JP Energie Environnement, reinforcing its project development and asset rotation strategy while supporting continued expansion of renewable energy capacity in the French market.
PNE Group has finalized the sale of the ready-to-build Romescamps wind farm project in northern France to JP Energie Environnement (JPEE), according to an official statement. The project has an installed capacity of 10.8 MW and consists of three wind turbines. Following financial close, PNE France will continue to provide selected development support under a Project Development Agreement.
The transaction reflects PNE's strategy of developing renewable energy assets through advanced project stages before transferring them to long-term owners. The company stated that engineering improvements during development increased turbine height and enhanced the project's expected electricity generation, improving its overall commercial value.
The deal further strengthens renewable energy investment in France, one of PNE's priority markets, while demonstrating continued demand for mature wind assets among independent power producers. The transaction is also the second completed project sale between PNE and JPEE, highlighting an ongoing commercial relationship within the European renewable energy sector.
For investors and industry participants, the sale illustrates continued liquidity in the European wind project market and the growing importance of project developers that specialize in creating construction-ready renewable assets. PNE Group is a Germany-based renewable energy developer focused on wind, solar and energy infrastructure projects across international markets. JP Energie Environnement is a French independent renewable energy producer engaged in the development, ownership and operation of wind and solar energy assets.
