The Government of Rajasthan has unveiled the master plan for Rajasthan Mandapam and allied infrastructure, a mixed-use development spanning over 90 acres near Jaipur International Airport, according to an official announcement. The project, with a total built-up area exceeding 94.53 lakh square feet, includes an iconic convention centre, grand expo halls, Global Capability Centres, IT/ITES office spaces, hotels, retail facilities, a natural history museum, and a revitalised riverfront public space.
Rajasthan State Industrial Development and Investment Corporation (RIICO) is the development authority for the project, with NBCC serving as the executing agency. NBCC is a central public sector enterprise specialising in project management and construction. The total project value is assessed at over ₹58 billion, with tenders scheduled for release in April 2026. The convention centre component features multiple auditoria, including the grand Padam Mandap with seating capacity of approximately 6,500 persons.
