SWEDEN —Sweden's Defence Materiel Administration (FMV) has awarded a significant concept development contract worth approximately SEK 2.9 billion to aerospace and defence manufacturer Saab. Under the terms of the agreement, Saab will execute research and development work for next-generation combat air capabilities from 2026 through 2028, with extension options running into 2029 and 2030.
