Singapore-listed food and beverage operator Sakae Holdings has fully acquired Cooking Art Industries for S$0.74 million. The strategic move leverages internal resources and borrowings to capture operational synergies and broaden market presence across local food services.

SINGAPORE Sakae Holdings Ltd., a Singapore-headquartered food service operator known for its restaurant management and food retail network, has finalized the complete takeover of Cooking Art Industries Pte Ltd. Executed through its wholly-owned investment arm Apex-Pal Investment Pte. Ltd., the transaction transfers 100% of the target entity's equity for a total consideration of S$0.74 million paid entirely in cash across three post-closing tranches.

The strategic deal enhances the buyer's culinary footprint by integrating established operational assets and technical capability. Evaluated against the target company's latest net asset backing and financial position, the deal incorporates a concurrent one-year service agreement with key executive talent to secure smooth leadership continuity and operational alignment across supply chains.

The acquisition reflects broader consolidation trends within the regional food service and catering sectors, where market players increasingly seek scale, centralized kitchen efficiencies, and diversified revenue streams to counter rising operational costs. By absorbing complementary expertise, corporate groups can optimize procurement, streamline back-end operations, and improve margin resilience in competitive urban markets.

Financed through a combination of internal cash reserves and credit facilities, the purchase is structured to maintain financial stability without materially altering immediate earnings performance or net tangible asset valuations. For investors and market participants, the expansion demonstrates an active capital deployment strategy focused on bolt-on acquisitions that build long-term operational scale within the domestic commercial food domain.
