Sensys Gatso Group has secured orders worth USD 3.7 million from Saudi Arabia’s Tahakom for fixed speed enforcement equipment and in-vehicle traffic monitoring systems. Deliveries are scheduled to begin in Q4 2026, expanding the supplier’s product deployment in the kingdom, although regional geopolitical developments could delay completion into 2027.

SAUDI ARABIA —Sensys Gatso Group, through its Saudi Arabian subsidiary, has received orders worth USD 3.7 million, equivalent to approximately SEK 36.5 million, from Tahakom for fixed speed enforcement systems and in-vehicle traffic monitoring equipment. Initial deliveries are scheduled to begin in the fourth quarter of 2026, with the possibility of some deliveries extending into 2027 depending on regional political developments and their effects on logistics and operations.

The fixed-system order expands the range of Sensys Gatso products supplied to Tahakom. The equipment underwent multiple testing scenarios to demonstrate its accuracy and reliability under demanding operating conditions. The scope also includes installation services and the potential relocation of systems, adding deployment-related work alongside the equipment supply.

The in-vehicle systems order adds to the fleet previously acquired by Tahakom, extending the use of mobile traffic enforcement technology in Saudi Arabia. Maintenance and technical support for the new equipment will be covered by an existing agreement between the two organisations, initially announced in January 2025 and subsequently extended. The arrangement builds on a memorandum of understanding signed in 2024 and supports the provision of services through local operations.

The orders are relevant to Saudi Arabia’s road safety and traffic management sector, where fixed and mobile enforcement technologies can support speed monitoring and compliance initiatives. Combining roadside installations with vehicle-based systems gives the customer two deployment models, potentially enabling enforcement activities across different road environments and operational requirements. Installation and relocation provisions may also allow equipment deployment to be adjusted as needs change.

For Sensys Gatso, the agreement broadens its product presence with an established customer while generating additional equipment supply and associated service requirements. The use of the existing maintenance agreement also links the new deployment to an ongoing support relationship rather than requiring an entirely separate service arrangement. Tahakom’s additional procurement indicates continued demand for both fixed and mobile enforcement systems, although the announcement does not specify the number of units or the precise deployment locations.

Sensys Gatso Group is a traffic enforcement technology supplier specialising in systems used for speed monitoring and traffic safety. Tahakom is a Saudi Arabian provider of traffic management and technology solutions. Delivery timing remains a key execution consideration: the companies expect work to commence in Q4 2026, but political uncertainty in the Middle East could disrupt regional logistics and push some deliveries into 2027. This creates potential scheduling and implementation risks for the deployment.
