Sigma Advanced Systems and Indrajaal Autonomous Defense Systems win ₹1.55 billion counter-drone contract

India’s Ministry of Home Affairs awarded a ₹1.55 billion order to a consortium of Sigma Advanced Systems and Indrajaal Autonomous Defense Systems for mobile anti-drone patrol vehicles to secure border areas, VVIP movement routes, and urban streets.

In a major boost to national security, the Ministry of Home Affairs has awarded counter-drone patrol vehicle orders valued at ₹1.55 billion million to a consortium formed by Sigma Advanced Systems Limited and Indrajaal Autonomous Defense Systems. Under the contract, a ₹1.45 billion order will deploy purpose-built Indrajaal Ranger Anti-Drone Patrol Vehicles across India's border regions, while a separate ₹100 million order covers urban policing and VVIP protection routes. Work involves deploying mobile Counter-Unmanned Aircraft Systems platforms capable of detecting, tracking, identifying, and countering rogue drones while traveling at high speeds.
