Singapore-headquartered Aolani and local digital infrastructure builder YCO Cloud have partnered to deploy high-performance GPU clusters in the Philippines. Launching in early 2027, the sovereign infrastructure project utilizes renewable energy to address expanding regional compute demand across enterprise and public sectors.

PHILIPPINES; SINGAPORE —High-performance computing infrastructure is expanding into emerging Southeast Asian markets through a new partnership between Singaporean neocloud operator Aolani and Philippine digital infrastructure firm YCO Cloud. Scheduled for operational deployment in the first quarter of 2027, the initial phase of the facility will incorporate over 10,000 specialized enterprise processors designed to support complex machine learning workloads across domestic industries and government initiatives.

The collaborative project marks the introduction of purpose-built, sovereign artificial intelligence hardware within the Philippines. Headquartered in Singapore, Aolani provides specialized cloud infrastructure, processor financing, and deployment capabilities for advanced computing environments. YCO Cloud focuses on developing, building, and operating sustainable data center facilities in the Philippines.

The project addresses severe Regional capacity constraints as local enterprises, tech startups, and public institutions seek localized, secure computing capacity. By situating hardware within domestic borders and linking it with regional submarine cable connections, the installation reduces data latency, ensures compliance with national data governance frameworks, and reduces reliance on overseas data hosting environments.

From an industrial perspective, the deployment establishes a foundational technology backbone for public sector modernization, enterprise automation, and domestic software development. The physical infrastructure is situated within industrial real estate managed by Science Park of the Philippines Inc., leveraging dedicated renewable energy sourcing and advanced water efficiency management to lower the carbon footprint associated with heavy computational tasks.

For global investors and technology vendors, the transaction signals growing capital expenditure shifting toward secondary Asian data center markets. The addition of substantial processing capacity enhances the national digital competitiveness of the Philippines, positioning the country to attract foreign tech investment while creating new avenues for regional cloud service delivery and enterprise software scaling.
