INDIA —Suyog Urja Limited, a step-down subsidiary of Enviro Infra Engineers Limited, has received a Letter of Intent valued at INR 2.24 billion, inclusive of GST, from Tata Power Renewable Energy Limited for turnkey engineering, procurement, and construction works. Under the mandate, the contractor will execute balance of plant, wind turbine generator foundation, and transmission line infrastructure for a 180 MW NTPC wind power project located at Parli, Maharashtra, with scheduled completion set for March 31, 2027.
The comprehensive scope of work encompasses specialized civil foundation construction for 58 wind turbine generators, complete with associated reinforcement steel and geotechnical installations. Additionally, the contractor will establish a 39-acre storage yard, construct civil access roads, pathways, and crane pads, and handle right-of-way management. The electrical infrastructure domain covers the design, survey, supply, and erection of a 33 kV transmission line alongside the installation of STATCOM and harmonic filter systems.
This contract win signifies a major operational leap for Enviro Infra Engineers Limited as it expands its footprint beyond traditional water treatment infrastructure into turnkey renewable energy execution. The project underscores the growing demand for specialized engineering capabilities capable of delivering complex clean energy assets. Established in 2009, Enviro Infra Engineers specializes in water supply and wastewater treatment plants, while Tata Power Renewable Energy Limited operates as a premier developer of utility-scale solar, wind, and hybrid projects across India.
The development highlights the broader momentum within India's renewable energy landscape, where power utilities are accelerating infrastructure deployment to meet aggressive clean energy transition targets. By strengthening grid integration through high-voltage transmission lines and reactive power management systems, such projects reinforce overall grid stability. For businesses and institutional investors, the order demonstrates clear revenue diversification potential for specialized infrastructure firms entering high-growth green energy markets.
