Saudi Vitrified Clay Pipes Company (SVCP) has restructured its subsidiary into a Saudi joint-stock entity capitalized at SAR 45.52 million. Qatari-based Laffan Pipes Factory Company secured a 45% stake, consolidating cross-border industrial integration in regional infrastructure.

SAUDI ARABIA A major Saudi infrastructure material manufacturer has finalized a strategic corporate reorganization to strengthen cross-border operational ties within the Gulf Cooperation Council. Saudi Vitrified Clay Pipes Company (SVCP) successfully completed the conversion of Laffan Pipes Company from a single-person limited liability entity into an unlisted Saudi joint-stock company. The entity's issued share capital stands at SAR 45.52 million, divided into 45.52 million ordinary shares with a nominal value of SAR 1 each, fully settled through in-kind asset contributions.

As part of the equity restructuring, Qatar's Laffan Pipes Factory Company acquired a 45% ownership stake in the newly formed joint-stock firm by subscribing to a capital increase via in-kind capital contributions. Following regulatory approval for the transition, Saudi Vitrified Clay Pipes Company (SVCP) retains a 55% majority holding, securing controlling equity while formalizing a joint-venture framework with its Qatari counterpart.

This corporate consolidation enhances regional supply-chain resilience for vitrified clay pipe manufacturing, a essential component in heavy civil engineering, municipal wastewater networks, and urban infrastructure developments across the Middle East. By combining Qatari manufacturing assets with Saudi capital and distribution channels, the transaction positions both entities to capture expanded market share amid heightened construction activity across the Arabian Peninsula.

For institutional investors and industrial market participants, the partnership highlights an increasing trend of cross-border corporate integration within GCC manufacturing sectors. The realignment allows the primary corporate entity to optimize its capital structure, leverage shared operational expertise, and strengthen market penetration across regional utility and municipal pipeline projects.

Saudi Vitrified Clay Pipes Company (SVCP) is a Saudi Arabia-based public manufacturing enterprise specializing in the production of vitrified clay pipes, fittings, and related drainage solutions for municipal and civil construction projects.
