Dutch agricultural firm ForFarmers, via its Polish arm Tasomix, has agreed to acquire animal feed manufacturer STW SA. The move enhances production capacity and strategic position across Eastern Poland's poultry, swine, and ruminant markets.

NETHERLANDS; POLAND Dutch animal nutrition leader ForFarmers is set to deepen its footprint in the Central European agricultural sector after its Polish subsidiary, Tasomix, signed a definitive agreement to acquire 100% of animal feed producer STW SA.

Headquartered in Sokołów Podlaski, STW SA operates a modern production facility in eastern Poland with an annual output capacity of roughly 0.27 million tonnes. Established in 2016 by the Leszczyński family, the company employs 76 staff members and provides specialized feed formulations alongside supply chain and poultry operations.

ForFarmers is an international livestock feed manufacturer offering sustainable feed solutions across Europe, whereas its subsidiary Tasomix has maintained a presence in Poland for over three decades, integrating into the parent group in 2018.

The acquisition targets STW SA's core feed manufacturing operations and associated customer network, while the seller's logistics and poultry farming operations remain independent. Pending regulatory clearance from Polish antitrust authorities, the transaction is expected to close in early 2027.

This strategic integration expands Tasomix’s regional production capacity and geographical reach across Poland's poultry, ruminant, and swine sectors. By securing local manufacturing infrastructure, the combined entity aims to generate operational synergies, optimize supply chain efficiency, and leverage technical expertise to support growing regional demand.

The transaction highlights ongoing consolidation within Europe's agribusiness sector, where established feed manufacturers are acquiring modern regional assets to secure raw supply channels and streamline production costs amid evolving regulatory and market dynamics.
