INDIA —Hyderabad Growth Corridor Limited (HGCL) has chosen NCC to execute the first package of the Radial Road-2 project in Telangana. Under the terms of the agreement, the domestic construction firm will build the highway segment connecting outer ring road nodes near Budwel with Nacharam along NH-167N. The contract carries a total valuation of ₹12.86 billion and features a strict execution timeline of 18 months.
NCC is an Indian infrastructure and construction company engaged in turn-key engineering projects across buildings, transportation, water, and power sectors. Headquartered in Hyderabad, the company regularly partners with municipal and state government entities to develop civil infrastructure and arterial transport networks.
This development significantly accelerates urban and regional connectivity initiatives surrounding Hyderabad, easing congestion between key industrial and suburban clusters. State planners and local businesses stand to benefit from streamlined logistics, improved commuter access, and enhanced commerce across the expanded transport corridor.
The awarded contract provides a substantial boost to the engineering firm’s order book, maintaining revenue visibility for coming quarters. For institutional investors and industry observers, the swift execution schedule highlights continued government capital expenditure toward regional transit projects, generating broader opportunities for auxiliary construction material providers and engineering subcontractors.
