The month's top project announcements include developments across India, Poland, Austria, Egypt, the North Sea, and Montenegro, highlighting continued global investment in the transition toward sustainable energy systems.

1. Project Name: Waaree Group Wind Project

Location: Andhra Pradesh, India

Description: Development and execution of a 201.6 MW wind power project in Andhra Pradesh featuring 64 units of Suzlon's S144 wind turbine generators (3.15 MW capacity each).

Current Status: EPC Order awarded to Suzlon (covering land acquisition, turbine supply, Balance of Plant, commissioning, and O&M services)

2. Project Name: Bożacin Photovoltaic Power Plant

Location: Krotoszyn, Greater Poland, Poland

Description: Construction of a solar power plant in Krotoszyn in the southern Greater Poland Voivodeship, approximately 80 km from Poznań, with a total capacity of 20 MW. The plant is connected to the grid via the Krotoszyn-Połnoc substation operated by Energa-Operator S.A. Electrum is responsible for construction, while Alplan is providing engineering services to Eurus.

Expected completion: 2027

Current Status: Construction began in July 2026.

3. Project Name: Starygród Photovoltaic Power Plant

Location: Kobylin, Greater Poland, Poland

Description: Construction of a solar power plant in Kobylin in the southern Greater Poland Voivodeship, approximately 80 km from Poznań, with a total capacity of 20 MW. The plant is connected to the grid via the Krotoszyn-Połnoc substation operated by Energa-Operator S.A. Electrum is responsible for construction, while Alplan is providing engineering services to Eurus.

Expected completion: 2027

Current Status: Construction began in July 2026.

4. Project Name: Bruck an der Leitha Green Hydrogen Plant

Location: Lower Austria, Austria

Estimated Value: €600 million

Description: Construction of a large-scale green hydrogen plant featuring a 140 MW electrolyser powered by renewable energy. It will produce up to 23,000 tonnes of green hydrogen annually to replace fossil-based hydrogen at the Schwechat refinery, reducing annual CO₂ emissions by up to 150,000 tonnes.

Expected completion: End of 2027

Current Status: Under construction. The European Investment Bank (EIB) has granted a €450 million credit facility for the construction of the green hydrogen plant.

5. Project Name: ACME Greentech Seventh 450MW/1800MWh Assured Peak Power Project

Location: India

Estimated Value: ₹26.46 billion

Description: A firm and dispatchable renewable energy (FDRE) project combining Solar and Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS) to ensure high predictability and meet peak power supply obligations under a 25-year PPA signed with SJVN Limited at ₹6.74/unit.

Current Status: In development. Long term funding for the project has been secured from REC Ltd.

6. Project Name: Khaba Solar Project

Location: Barmer, Rajasthan, India

Description: Development of a 250 MW solar power plant by Khaba Renewable Energy Private Limited. It is expected to generate approximately 650 GWh of clean electricity annually and offset nearly 180 kilo tonnes of CO₂ emissions per year.

Expected completion: Q3 2026

Current Status: Financial closure achieved; progressing into the next phase of development and construction.

7. Project Name: 500 MW Dandara Solar Project (Phase 1)

Location: Qena Governorate, Egypt

Estimated Value: $290 million

Description: Development of a 500 MW photovoltaic solar power plant with an integrated 100 MWh battery energy storage system (BESS). The plant will generate around 1,373 GWh of clean power annually, supplying renewable electricity to the Aluminium Company of Egypt (EgyptAlum) under a 25-year PPA to support industrial decarbonization.

Expected completion: 2028

Current Status: The African Development Bank (AfDB) has approved a financing package of $66 million for the project. Progressing through design and construction preparation.

8. Project Name: TenneT 2 GW Offshore Wind Programme

Location: North Sea (Dutch and German offshore sectors)

Estimated Value: ~$1.8+ billion

Description: A landmark offshore wind program encompassing 14 HVDC grid connection systems (525 kV) with 2 GW transmission capacity each (total 28 GW). The consortium of L&T and Hitachi Energy will construct offshore converter platforms and deploy HVDC Light® technology to transmit clean North Sea wind energy to onshore grids across Germany and the Netherlands.

Expected completion: 2032

Current Status: L&T has successfully concluded the Framework Cooperation Agreement (FCA) for the project with TenneT. Execution continuing on ongoing projects (IJmuiden Ver Alpha, Nederwiek 1) and commencing on new projects (Nederwiek 3, LanWin 5).

9. Project Name: Štedim Solar PV Project

Location: Montenegro

Description: Development of a 115 MW solar photovoltaic power plant as part of the 50/50 joint venture between Masdar and EPCG to support domestic energy needs and potential regional electricity exports.

Current Status: Joint Development Agreement (JDA) signed between Masdar and EEPCG. The agreement represents the project to be progressed through a 50/50 joint venture to be established by both the companies.

10. Project Name: Krupac Solar PV Project

Location: Montenegro

Description: Development of a 35 MW solar photovoltaic power plant as part of the 50/50 joint venture between Masdar and EPCG to support domestic energy needs and potential regional electricity exports.

Current Status: Joint Development Agreement (JDA) signed between Masdar and EEPCG. The agreement represents the project to be progressed through a 50/50 joint venture to be established by both the companies.
