Trading Technologies International has acquired US-based OEMS provider TRAFiX LLC, significantly expanding its software platform to cover global equities and equity options alongside its established derivatives, fixed income, and foreign exchange offerings.

UNITED STATES OF AMERICA —Trading Technologies International, Inc. has finalized its acquisition of TRAFiX LLC, a Mineola, New York-based software firm specializing in order and execution management systems (OEMS) and Financial Information eXchange (FIX) connectivity services. The strategic transaction incorporates TRAFiX's proprietary trading software and institutional connectivity network directly into Trading Technologies' cloud-native Software-as-a-Service ecosystem, creating a single multi-asset trading platform across global capital markets.

Trading Technologies operates a global platform providing front-end execution, risk management, and market connectivity for major institutional financial entities, including Tier 1 investment banks, hedge funds, and asset managers. TRAFiX develops scalable trading technologies that provide multi-asset order routing, normalized API tools, and real-time compliance workflows tailored for equity options and stock markets.

This consolidation addresses the financial sector's growing demand for unified platform architectures that eliminate disconnected legacy systems. By integrating order management, execution analytics, margin analytics, trade surveillance, and risk assessment into a single SaaS solution, institutional clients can reduce operational overhead, optimize capital deployment, and streamline cross-asset execution. Financial institutions and institutional traders will gain centralized access to more than 100 liquidity pools and venues worldwide across derivatives, foreign exchange, fixed income, cryptocurrencies, and equity markets.

The integration represents a ongoing shift in capital markets technology toward enterprise-wide multi-asset coverage. Software vendors that provide consolidated trading architectures are increasingly replacing niche point solutions as institutional desks seek end-to-end execution efficiency, streamlined vendor management, and unified regulatory compliance frameworks.
