NORWAY —Urd Klima Sandnes, a subsidiary of the prominent Nordic installation group Instalco, has secured a major contract valued at NOK 40 million to provide advanced ventilation and design services for a high-profile corporate project in Norway. The agreement was finalized with the main contractor Total Betong, tasking Urd Klima Sandnes with the installation of a fully integrated air treatment system incorporating heating and cooling via ventilation air. Additionally, Instalco’s technical consulting subsidiary Intec will oversee the comprehensive engineering and design of the building's heating, plumbing, and ventilation infrastructure.
The project centers on the construction of Trivium, a state-of-the-art 35,000-square-meter office complex located in the Paradis district of central Stavanger. Upon its scheduled completion by the end of 2028, the facility will accommodate 1,500 workplaces and serve as the dedicated head office for oil company Vår Energi. Installation work is slated to commence in the second half of 2027. The development is aligned with rigorous environmental guidelines, aiming for BREEAM-NOR Excellent and WELL Core Gold certifications alongside energy class A performance.
This contract win highlights the growing market demand for energy-efficient, high-performance building systems that meet strict sustainability frameworks. As commercial real estate developers face mounting pressure to deliver low-carbon, climate-adaptive corporate spaces, specialized technical installation providers are playing an increasingly critical role. The integration of advanced climate control across multiple zones ensures long-term operational cost savings and tenant well-being, setting a benchmark for future urban commercial developments in the Nordic region.
For Instalco and its subsidiaries, this agreement strengthens their foothold in the Norwegian commercial construction and technical consulting sectors. By securing long-term collaboration pipelines with established general contractors like Total Betong, Instalco continues to execute its decentralized growth strategy. Investors view such technical installation projects as reliable revenue drivers that benefit from robust corporate migration toward sustainable, future-proof headquarters.
