Vitec Software Group AB has acquired total equity in AtermIT Holding B.V., a Netherlands-based provider of specialized maternity care management software. The cash-financed transaction expands Vitec's presence in European healthcare IT and is anticipated to immediately boost earnings per share.

NETHERLANDS; SWEDEN —Vitec Software Group AB has completed the acquisition of all shares in Netherlands-based healthcare software provider AtermIT Holding B.V. along with its subsidiaries. The all-cash transaction integrates AtermIT into Vitec's operational structure starting from the acquisition date, with financial consolidation taking effect immediately. The target entity reported pro-forma revenue of EUR 3.2 million during the 2025 fiscal year, and the deal is projected to deliver an immediate accretive effect on Vitec's earnings per share.

Headquartered in Lelystad, Netherlands, AtermIT specializes in vertical market software for maternity and post-natal care sectors. Its core platform, Atermes, supports post-natal care organizations, independent midwives, and obstetric practices across pregnancy, delivery, and post-partum workflows. Established in 1985 and headquartered in Umeå, Sweden, Vitec Software Group AB is a public software company focused on developing and acquiring niche vertical software providers across Northern Europe.

This strategic move enhances Vitec's position in specialized healthcare technology, broadening its geographic reach into the Dutch medical IT market. Healthcare providers increasingly depend on digital tools to coordinate maternity and home-based post-natal care under regulatory frameworks, making specialized software platforms crucial for clinical administrative efficiency.

For enterprise investors and decision-makers, the deal illustrates continued momentum in vertical market software consolidation. By targeting niche platforms with recurring revenue models and strong local market dominance, software consolidators like Vitec can enhance scale while retaining operational management and domain-specific software solutions.
