Vox Royalty Corp. signed a $13 million binding agreement to acquire an effective 0.75% net smelter return royalty over the Sorby Hills silver-lead project in Western Australia. The deal expands Vox's exposure to near-term precious metals cash flows ahead of targeted production in late 2027.

AUSTRALIA —Vox Royalty Corp., through its subsidiary Vox Royalty Australia Pty Ltd., has executed a definitive agreement to purchase an effective 0.75% net smelter return royalty on the Sorby Hills silver-lead asset located in Western Australia. The cash transaction, valued at $13 million, involves a private seller and is scheduled to close in the final quarter of 2026, contingent upon standard closing conditions and regulatory approval from Australia's Foreign Investment Review Board.

Vox Royalty Corp. is a precious metals-focused royalty and streaming business holding a global portfolio of more than 70 royalty and streaming assets across various development stages. The underlying Sorby Hills venture is operated by Boab Metals Limited, an Australian exploration and development company focused on advancing mineral deposits in the East Kimberley region.

This transaction provides capital deployment into an advanced-stage deposit undergoing active development. Sorby Hills represents an open-pit mining enterprise targeting initial commercial concentrate output during the second half of 2027. Based on current engineering parameters, the development is projected to yield an annual average of approximately 2.2 million ounces of silver alongside 68 kilotons of lead across an initial operating lifespan of 8.5 years.

For the broader mining finance and precious metals markets, royalty acquisitions on near-production assets minimize greenfield exploration risks while offering immediate participation in operational upside. Capital commitment to late-stage developments allows specialized streaming companies to secure cash flow streams without directly exposure to mine construction cost overruns or ongoing operational expenditures.

The agreement enhances non-dilutive financing models in regional mining sectors, particularly across Australia's resource corridors. As institutional debt and equity funding remain selective, royalty monetization serves as a structural capital component for mid-tier developers bringing critical and precious mineral projects toward production timelines.
