MALAYSIA —WCT Holdings Berhad, a prominent Malaysian engineering and construction group, announced that its wholly-owned subsidiary, WCT Berhad, has executed and accepted a letter of award valued at RM600.89 million from Pelangi Pasifik Sdn Bhd for major construction works at Tun Razak Exchange in Kuala Lumpur. Pelangi Pasifik Sdn Bhd is a wholly-owned subsidiary of TRX City Sdn Bhd, the master developer of Malaysia's premier international financial district. WCT Berhad is an established engineering and infrastructure contractor with extensive experience in executing large-scale commercial, residential, and infrastructure projects across Malaysia and internationally.
Under the terms of the contract, WCT Berhad will serve as the main contractor for the proposed construction of a 41-storey office block located on Lot 20076 (Plot 7) and part of Lot 20077 (Plot 8), Seksyen 67, Tun Razak Exchange, Jalan Tun Razak/Jalan Davis, Wilayah Persekutuan Kuala Lumpur. The comprehensive scope of work encompasses civil and structural works, architectural execution, mechanical, electrical, and plumbing services, facade construction, landscaping, external works, and other associated infrastructure. Project development will be carried out across three distinct phases, incorporating connecting road infrastructure, a two-level basement parking facility, a four-storey podium for parking and mechanical systems, 14 floors of office space with commercial and facility amenities, and a upper tower segment comprising 27 floors of dedicated office space. Formal site work is scheduled to commence on 1 December 2026.
